Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan blew us away with their Royalty at Karan Johar's 40th Birthday Party at Hotel Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai on Friday, May 25, 2012.
The new parents looked so happy together as they walked the red carpet hand in hand and posed for photogs with nary a fuss.
Aamir, 47, was dressed in all black - bandh gala coat, matching pants and dress shoes.
Kiran, 38, wore a sheer Gaurav Gupta sari embellished with floral sequin embroidery and satin ribbon trim on the border. Her stand-up collar sleeveless sheer blouse added to the high drama of her dress.
She accessorized with a metallic silver DVF clutch and Amrapalli jewels that comprised earrings, bangle and a ring.
Her curly tresses were styled in an updo with few tendrils framing her face. Shimmering pink lipper and bold pink blush rounded her delightful look.
Kiran was styled by celebrity stylist Nitasha Gaurav, who gave Sawfnews.com an exclusive scoop on syling Ms. Kiran:
"Because she (Kiran) was going with Aamir - who was considering a bandh-gala - we decided to go in for a sari. Kiran likes things that are somewhat whimsical and off-beat, so we picked this Gaurav Gupta sari in a lovely fresh mint color. And she really did look gorgeous in it!"
Beauty with a brain and some hot styling, we agree she looked gorgeous!
