 New mom Aishwarya Rai opted for a blue and green print Roberto Cavalli Caftan gown for her second photocall appearance during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival Friday afternoon, May 25, 2012.
The 1970s style kaftan silhouette silk dress has a blue front with animal print and a green back with floral print. The dress features a V neckline, high V back with side cutouts and long bell sleeves. The gathered waist is cinched with a black ribbon. The front hem hits below the knees, and the back hem grazes the floor.
The volume of the dress enables freedom of movement while the cinched waist adds shape to the body.

The 38-year-old former Miss World (1994) accessorized with black ankle strap Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Roberto Cavalli sunglasses.
Her hair, styled in luscious waves with middle parting, framed her face. Natural look makeup included matte pink lip stain and a swipe of pink blush. A green manicure set off the color of her dress.
While the L'Oreal Paris ambassador did her brand duties, she said it was time for her daughter Aaradhya's nap.
"I made her sleep before heading out for the media call."
For the first time Aishwarya talked to media about her baby weight issues. She said she is comfortable with the way she is.
