The theatrical trailer of Rohit Shetty's action-comedy Bol Bachchan, headlining Ajay Devgan, Abhishek Bachchan, Asin, and Prachi Desai released on Thursday night, May 24.

The film is inspired by the 1979 comedy, Gol Maal, which featured Amol Palekar in a double role and Utpal Dutt as his strict boss.

The 2.38m long trailer packs some goofy dialogs and light hearted thrills in trademark Rohit Shetty action sequences.

Ajay Devgn, who plays tough pahalwaan Prithviraj Raghuvanshi in the film, makes a dramatic entry in the trailer on a bike ahead of an army of his supporters on jeeps. A big blast behind pretty much sets the tone of the film.

Devgn excels with his rib tickling Haryanvi to English translation dialogs, delivered with great passion - like the one at the end of the trailer where he tells Abhishek: "Tujhe paa kar meri chhaati aur bhi chauri ho gayee hai, my chest has become blouse!"

And each time Abhishek gets totally zapped by the pahalwaan's 'thinking hindi, speaking English phrases.'

Abhishek is seen in a double role as Ram Prasad Sharma and Laxman Prasad Sharma, a first in his career. His comic timings seem to have improved a lot in this film! You will see traces of dad Bachchan in him.

The gorgeous Asin and Prachi do not have any dialogs and are seen breezing past their love interests in their ultra glam ethnic avatars.

There is no sign of Amitabh Bachchan's song-dance sequence in the trailer.

Bol Bachchan is presented by Fox Star Studios and is produced by Shree Ashtavinayak LFS Infra Ltd and Ajay Devgan Films. It hits theatres July 6.
