Mark Zuckerberg, Priscilla Chan Married in Palo Alto

Someone needs to update their relationship status: Priscilla Chan is now Mrs. Facebook.
The recent med school grad, 27, wed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, 28, in a small ceremony at their home in Palo Alto, California on Saturday afternoon. The newlyweds have been dating since November 7, 2003.
When Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to work on his social networking website full-time in 2009, Chan was among the first classmates he recruited to help him build what has since become the world’s most popular microblogging website.

Whispers that the uberly-private Mark and Priscilla were engaged first hits the blogosphere in June 2011, when Microsoft creator Bill Gates let slip that Zuckerberg had popped the question to his college sweetheart. Gates, who is close friends with the fellow billionaire, was gabbing to Britain’s Daily Mail about the joys of philanthropy when he dropped the revealing detail.
Gates told the paper:

“I didn’t say to Mark, ‘Give me all your money!’. He was predisposed to do it and he came to me seeking advice. His fiancee Priscilla thought about education and he gave money to Newark, New Jersey and we did a co-grant so that some of our people who had some expertise in that field could help him out.”

According to her Facebook profile, the pediatric resident speaks fluent Cantonese, Spanish, and English and loves “cooking and soft things.” She is also fan of Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice and Britney Spears.
