Kangana Ranaut is knee deep into her thriving film career with six new films in her kitty and she once again plays a strong woman role in all of her films.

Kangana, 25, is currently filming for Krrish 3 in which she plays a catsuit-donning superwoman and gangster flick Shootout at Wadala.

She has already completed filming for I Love New Year with co-star Sunny Deol. The release date for the Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru directed film is yet to be announced.

The K-girl will next begin shooting Vishal Bhardwaj's Dedh Ishqiya in September. She will be seen in a gun-toting role. Her role is opposite Arshad Warsi in the film. Madhuri Dixit is the other female lead.

After giving a box-office hit with small budget romcom Tanu Weds Manu (2011), she will be back in the sequel with co-star Madhavan. She plays a double role in Tanu Weds Manu 2, a first in her career.

Kangana has recently signed up for Vikas Bahl's (Chillar Party) Queen. The film is set in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi, a place concentrated with Punjabi community and is where Bahl grew up.

"Kangana essays the role of a typical behenji from Lajpat Nagar. Her look will be very seedha-saadha. But she'll have a character of her own," Bahl told TOI.

The actress is excited to play the role for which she will be required to imbibe traits of a typical Delhi girl. Filming is scheduled in Europe and Delhi.

Kangana's rep told sawfnews.com, "The line up for her new films is not fixed of which she is shooting when."

Even though Kangana has had it going good for her in her six-year-long Bollywood career, she rues about Bollywood being dominated by male actors.

"In Bollywood, it's always about the Hero and how he woos the girl. The pressure to look pretty is also too much," Kangana said on the TV show 'The Front Row with Anupama Chopra.'

On another note, just today, May 22, Ram Gopal Varma admitted in one of his Tweets that Sanjay Dutt was the reason to drop Kangana Ranaut from the cast of his new release Department.

"Frm forcing me 2 take kangana out of the film 2 constantly cornering me 2 change screenplay I had the most horrible time wrking wth dutt" RGV wrote on his Twitter.

While politics is always an issue in male-dominated Bollywood, we're glad to see it doesn't stop Kangana from getting great roles!
