Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst Make Temperatures Soar at Cannes photocall

Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst set flashbulbs popping at the photocall for their movie On the Road Wednesday, May 23.
The photocall, held at the Palais theatre in the middle of Cannes Film Festival, gave us a glimpse of two Hollywood heavyweights in their sartorial prime.
Let's first go with K-Stew. The 22-year-old who's been gracing premieres dressed in provocative A-list couture and heavy makeup did a volte-face here by going "casual". Of course, when it's someone as glam as she is, the word has a whole new take.
She paired a white Juicy Couture top with an open black blazer by Rebecca Minkoff, and a tight-fitting pair of printed yellow pants by Balenciaga. The pant side zips were left unzipped, in keeping with her laidback feel, and paired with a set of black heels.

Hair was brushed back and complemented by a pair of matching dark movie-star shades, while makeup was minimal. The top of her outfit was fairly uninteresting, but it goes well with her colored jeans and gives them a bit more class then they would otherwise have. A black waistband ties her look together while the slim and bright design of her pants highlights Kristen's stunning pair of legs. The dark heels polish off the outfit and make it formal enough for Cannes.
It was a nice choice for Kristen because it's much easier to wear than a designer frock, and we were expecting something more along the lines of her previous events so it surprises.
As for pal Kirsten Dunst, she went for demure elegance in a knee-length white dress and headband from Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2012 line. It was teamed with white and gold heels by Charlotte Olympia and a Van Cleef watch, also in white. Her hair was part on the side and worn slicked down. What's more she couldn't have looked more different than Kristen if she tried.
The 30-year-old former child star looked chic in the short-sleeved white dress with high neckline and it delivered plenty of Hollywood charm. The two-tone heels not only matched her outfit, but they gave her legs some extra height. The watch was a finishing touch and pulled it all together.
Her blonde locks were parted on the side and worn in an upswept hairstyle which echoed the sophistication of her Dolce. Eyes sported smoky shadows while cheeks and lips had a soft pink shade, complementing her fair skin. The floral headband not only added a whimsical touch to her outfit, but it went swimmingly with the fabrication of her dress. It was very much an outfit typical of someone who's no stranger to the red carpet.
While we can't pick whose outfit rocked more, we love how summery both looks are. With K-Stew's boyfriend Robert Pattinson coming to promote Cosmopolis, and Kirsten currently seeing castmate Garrett Hedlund, it's going to be hot in France!
