Pregnancy is ’spiritual’ for Mariah Carey, says hubby Nick Cannon

After Mariah Carey addressed rumours of her pregnancy, thanking fans for ‘well wishes’ but noting she is ‘very superstitious,’ husband Nick Cannon has said that it’s more of a spiritual thing. ”I think superstitious might be the wrong word,” Cannon told UsMagazine.com at Sunday’s Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day tennis event in Flushing, New York. ”I think it’s more of a spiritual thing. Like trying to stay true and stay private for as long as you possibly can. She wants to keep as much privacy as she possibly can,” Cannon, 29, explained. Cannon continued to be mum about any baby-to-be. “She’ll talk when she’s ready to talk,” he said. But Carey is “working” on an album in Los Angeles and feeling “good,” Cannon assured reporters. ”I love kids. I’m all about kids. I’m a big kid!,” he said. When asked whether he would welcome twins, he replied”Yeah! Nine kids at once,” he joked. ”Whatever happens, whatever life God blesses you with, you have to take it and appreciate it,” he added.
