Contrary to director Kabir Khan's May 1 Tweet denying filming in Bangkok, a source close to the production unit confirmed to sawfnews.com,
"Salman finished shoot of his item song for Preity Zinta film (Ishkq In Paris) and left for Bangkok for shooting the climax scene in Bangkok."
"The rest of the team went by early morning flight but Salman and Katrina went together by 11 am flight," the source added.
Salman and Katrina filmed for the last song of the film in Mumbai, starting May 17.
"Shooting the final song of Ek Tha Tiger from tomo... It's a great thumping track... :-)" Director Kabir Khan had Tweeted on May 16.
The filming started in Dublin, Ireland on August 10, followed by shoots in Turkey, Iraq, Mumbai, Delhi and Cuba.
Ek Tha Tiger is due for release on August 17.
Based on the cast and Kabir Khan's description, we're really curious now
