 Sonam Kapoor looked uberstylish in a transparent designer gown for the closing ceremony of Cannes Film Festival and the premiere of "Therese Desqueyroux" on May 27, 2012.
The 27-year-old Bollywood star sizzled in a long-sleeved dress from Alexander McQueen's Pre Autumn-Winter 12 collection with embroidery detail extending from the bodice down to the skirt. The dress had a sheer black overlay over a light-colored skirt and a long train, adding to the drama.

She. Was. Gorgeous. La Sonam's makeup took it up a notch, with a warm smoky eye, visibly bright blusher, and a shimmering red pout. Black liner and silver shadow at the inner corners of her eyes made the most of her enviable eyes. A red manicure matched her lip color and set off the black hue of the outfit well.
The dress's dark color echoed the color of Sonam's tresses, which were worn parted in the middle and styled in a formal updo. Its frilly high neck and sleeves done in such a see-through fabrication made it appropriate enough for an event like Cannes. Such an extensively detailed garment would be impossible for anyone who isn't slim and rocking her twenties to pull off, which is why SK does it easily.
