This landmark movie apparently has fans amongst white supremacists, who somehow miss the fact that it’s a merciless attack on their entire philosophy and culture (and any philosophy based on race for that matter). Norton is scary as articulate, well-educated neo-Nazi Derek, but what’s really disturbing is the way that society itself is shown to create and perpetuate racism.
