Esha Deol is getting married to Bharat Takhtani on June 29 and an exhilarated mom Hema Malini says she wants the wedding to be more elaborate than her own wedding to dad Dharmendra.
"Mine was a very quiet wedding, with no shor-sharaba. I want an elaborate wedding for my daughter. Dharamji and I need everyone's good wishes," Hema told Mumbai Mirror.
Interestingly, the wedding venue is a Hare Rama Hare Krishna temple in suburban Mumbai and only close family and friends are invited. The temple is known to have tight security regulations.
"It is not possible to have the wedding at our home. We chose a temple because it is a perfect place for matrimony," says Hema.
The actor and politician parents will host a reception on June 30.
"We both lead a double life. We are actors and politicians. So we'll have lots of guests at the reception from the film industry and politics."
Dharmendra is currently vacationing in US and is expected back well in time to take part in the wedding festivities.
There is no news on which other Deols will be attending the wedding.
Esha and Mumbai businessman Bharat Takhtani got engaged on February 12, after having dated for 2 years.
