Food supplies are scarce in the post-apocalyptic world of
The Road, and many people are forced to use… alternate… methods to survive. The most disturbing thing about the cannibal gangs in this movie is that they’re not crazy serial killers or inbred mutants, just normal people driven over the edge. That doesn’t make them any less disgusting, though, and one particularly nasty scene sees their victims locked in a cellar, beneath bloody meat hooks, where they’ll keep fresher for longer.
