Romper Stomper, a gang of skinheads battle minorities, police and pretty much everyone else in an Australian city. The movie’s disturbing depiction of racial violence, murder and graphic sex caused controversy in the UK when it was partially blamed for a race-related death in Feltham Young Offenders Institution. Russell Crowe also puts in a classic performance as the neo-Nazi leader Hando, from a time before his violent reputation off-screen overshadowed his on-screen personalities…
