Shahid Kapoor's yet to be titled next film directed by Bejoy Nambiar will have the star playing a macho role reminiscent of the one he essayed in Kaminey.

A reliable source told sawfnews.com exclusively:

"Its an edgy script and very male in its look and feel, like Kaminey."

The female lead is yet to be announced.

Filming will begin by November 2012 after Shahid finishes filming a YRF production to be directed by Maneesh Sharma of Band Baaja Baaraat fame.

The YRF project got delayed because Maneesh has been ailing with a bad back.

Shahid is currently priming up to promote Kunal Kohli's Teri Meri Kahaani. He will be hosting IIFA 2012 in Singapore.

Bejoy is currently filming his second directorial venture David that features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vikram, Vinay Virmani, Tabu, Monica Dogra, Lara Dutta and Isha Sharvani.
