“Remy” may just be the most messed-up skinhead ever. A hapless victim of bullying at the beginning of the movie, his character quickly progresses on to dangerous racial politics, violence, and finally picking people off from the college roof with a sniper rifle. This film, by Boyz n the Hood director John Singleton, shows the futility of racial hatred in even more detail than the later American History X.
