The tale of an awkward friendship between a skinhead and a Jewish doctor, Swedish movie Speak Up! It’s So Dark is mainly notable for its central idea: if you confront neo-Nazis with the reality of the Holocaust, even they will be shocked. It’s also memorable for depicting serious inter-group violence amongst neo-Nazis: apparently, Aryan brotherhood does not necessarily imply real fraternal feeling… The film is minimalistic, with only a few locations, but still has a stunning power.
