The Hills Have Eyes

In The Hills Have Eyes, a rather dumb family tries to cross the titular hills while on vacation. Apart from the high risk of dehydration and the fact that the Air Force uses the area as a bombing range, they fail to take into account the clan of hostile people-eaters lurking in the area. Predictably, they end up mostly robbed and murdered by yet another group of mutant scavenger cannibals, although in this case it does feel a bit like natural selection.
