Neil Patrick Harris hosted the 66th Annual tony Awards, live from New York City.
The night, which honors the best on Broadway, featured great performance from the cast of Once, Evita with Ricky Martin and The Book of Mormom with an appearance by host, Neil Patrick Harris. Hugh Jackman also took home a very special award last night, honoring his humanitarian efforts.

Jessica Chastain wore an incredibly sheer Mario Schwab dress at the 66th Annual Tony Awards at Beacon Theatre, New York City on Sunday, June 10, 2012.
The Help star, one of the presenters at the Awards, wore a number from the designer's Fall 2012 collection.
Her nude long sleeved dress ending at the knees was embellished with Swarovski crystals placed strategically to safeguard her modesty, letting the sheer fabric tease a lot of skin. The dress had a visible built-in corset for support.
She wore the dress the way it was presented on the runway without any improvisation or inner layering. Not known for risque red carpet styling, the actress sure turned many heads but it was a tasteful show of skin. More than anything, Chastain made the style her own and lapped up all the extra attention her dress brought her.
Her silver satin Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Harry Winston vintage jewels echoed the graceful silhouette of her dress.
Super glossy flame hair, parted in the center and styled in structured curls, was left down.
She wore pink lipstick, smudged liner on the top lashlines, metallic eyeshadow and swipe of peachy blush complimenting the color of her hair.
The beautiful actress has been announced as the face of Yves Saint Laurent new fragrance, Manifesto. This is her first endorsement.

The 18-year-old actress wore a sleeveless maxi dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 Gucci collection. The lighter shade bodice featured a plunging V neckline, deep armholes and a V back. The flowy pleated skirt was a richer shade of coral.
Fanning accessorized with Gucci accessories - strappy heels and a black and gold butterfly belt that was an exact match to her suede clutch. She completed her look with twin Cartier "Love" bracelets and three statement rings by Neil Lane.
After giving us a teaser of an elegant updo at CFDA awards a day earlier, she was back with her signature style. The asymmetrical center parted hair framed her face and draped her back. To make sure her face did not look pale against the bright color of the gown, she wore an exact matching coral lipstick. Swipe of pink blush and lashings of mascara made her thick arches and beautiful blue eyes stand out.
Jennifer Aniston and John Travolta handed the award to Shirley MacLaine, 78. Travolta appeared onstage as a surprise guest. He skipped walking the red carpet and did not attend the dinner.
Others attending the dinner included Meryl Streep, Melanie Griffith, Mena Suvari, Deborah Secco, Katherine Heigl, Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts and Marcia Gay Harden.
The AFI Life Achievement Award tribute to Shirley MacLaine will premiere on TV Land on Saturday, June 24 at 9/8c.

Kristen Stewart turned every head on the carpet in an ubershort metallic mini dress at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards Sunday, June 3.
The awards, held in Los Angeles' Gibson Ampitheatre, honored the year's most popular performers in the cinema world. K-Stew, who's been promoting her flick Snow White and the Huntsman, went for short and sassy with a frock by Guishem's Fall 2012 RTW line.
The dress, done in silver with details in primary colors, made her a style standout. Its high hem showed off Hollywood's best pair of pins.
The metallic hue contrasted well with her still dyed-dark locks while setting her apart from costar Charlize Theron.
Not only that, but the 22-year-old sported a voluminous blowout which gave her unusual choice of attire major edge. Eyes were done in a cool smoky shadow, with pale pink blush and dusky pink pout on cheeks and lips.
She completed her daring look with a set of Pigalle pumps by Christian Louboutin which went well with her hair, as well as a ring by Ripasso.
The makeup extended the drama of her outfit perfectly, while minimal accessories avoided la Kristen's going over the top.
She recently confessed to MTV News that she picked up the French language during the filming of On the Road, to which we can only say, tres bien!

Leighton Meester gave us a dose of summer cool in a white short suit at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards in LA June 3.
The awards red carpet had plenty of short dresses, but the 26-year-old star of Gossip Girl chose to take a different route in a printed blue tunic and white silk ensemble which had us begging for more.
The suit, by Christian Cota, was formal enough for the red carpet but seeing as it was an MTV event and catering to the younger set, made sure fans got a view of her perfectly toned arms and legs.
She pulled it together with a peach bag by Jimmy Choo, nude heels by Brian Atwood and jewelry by Neil Lane.
While Leighton's long mane was worn back in a ponytail, her makeup was bright and went with her seasonal attire. Eyes were done in a warm shadow with heavy black pencil on the upper lids while cheeks and lips sported orange.
A pair of small, dangling earrings and some gold bangles added class to her outfit.
The hair pulled away from the face avoided overshadowing her makeup, while her neutral colored heels matched well with the suit.
We loved her outfit not only because it looked chic and comfortable, but it didn't look anything like what the other girls wore! One more reason why she's got our vote for princess of style!

She accessorized with copper metallic Roger Vivier T strap heels, and a charcoal bone cuff by Else Peretti for Tiffany.
Her brunette hair with reddish brown highlights, styled poker straight with a middle parting, framed her face.
Smokey eyes, glossy pink lips and black nail polish rounded her sensuous look.
She posed on red carpet with her Forgetting Sarah Marshall co-star Kristen Bell.
Other celebrities dressed in LBD included Emma Stone in Versace, Kate Beckinsale in a long sleeve number, Julianne Hough in a plunging Michael Kors halter dress and Kendra Wilkinson in a sparkling strapless dress. Malin Akerman also wore a black open back and front slit Emporio Armani gown.
The awards ceremony will air on June 9.

The 23-year-old dazzled on the red carpet for the second time in a row after the Spike TV's 2012 Guys Choice Awards on Saturday, June 2.
Jullianne wore a lace mini dress from the designer's FW12 Collection. The long sleeve dress featured a high round neck and tummy revealing cutout, flaunting her super toned abs.
Black Jimmy Choo peeptoes completed her minimalist look for the evening.
Her pin-straight blond tresses draped her shoulders, making her flawless skin stand out against the black dress.
She wore fiery tangerine eye shadow on the eyelids and below the lower lashline. A natural pink lip gloss made sure the unusual eye makeup takes center stage.
Julianne will be soon seen in a musical film, Rock of Ages, with the show host Russell Brand and an ensemble cast that includes Diego Boneta, Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Paul Giamatti, Malin Åkerman, Bryan Cranston, Alec Baldwin and Mary J. Blige. The film is due in theaters on June 15.

The upper thigh length dress featured a deep cut-out back, zipper detail on front and a peplum inspired detail on the waist.
She accessorized with black strappy Tabitha Simmons sandals accented with white embroidery, and two wide cuff bangles on her left arm.
Her blond locks have out-grown the pixie cut of her Harry Potter days. Her nape-length hair was styled slick with a deep side parting.
Watson sported powder blue eyeshadow on the eyelids and under the lower lashline, black liner on upper lashline and lashings of mascara. She finished off with matte pink lips and black nail polish.
Emma flew in to LA from the set of her new movie, The Apocalypse, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
One thing that's too cool about the Emster is that she constantly reinvents herself on the carpet. One day, she's ethereally pretty, the next she's just plain hot. Well done, Emma.

She accessorized with Brian Atwood nude platform sandals with ankle straps and towering heels, stud earrings, and a Ferragamo clutch.
During the event she broke her sandal heel.
"My heel just broke at Glamour UK Awards! Haha, I fell down all by myself in the bathroom! No one saw me, so I was laughing all by myself!" Eva Tweeted along with a photo of she sitting on a chair and tending to her shoe.
Her hair was styled in a sleek high ponytail. She wore smokey eye makeup, peach blush, and pink lipgloss. Black nails rounded off her glamorous look for the awards evening.
The Desperate Housewives alum told the media at the show that Victoria Beckham is her Style Icon. She finds her "classic and simple and always looks great."
Talking about her glamorous looks in Cannes, Eva said her stylists have it the hardest to dress her for the ultra glam annual event as she is not the one making any decisions for her look at the airport, street, or the red carpet while in Cannes. She said it takes about two hours to dress for a Cannes red carpet appearance.

The 39-year-old hottie pulled out one of her usual showstoppers, a tight, revealing dress with plenty of oomph and figure-flattering details. The frock, designed by Zac Posen was a printed pink affair with a low-cut neckline and a ruffled hem which went well with her coloring as well as her celebrated curves.
Her Posen dress was matched with a pair of opentoe black Christian Louboutin pumps, which really would have been the only thing able to go with its ruffle and bright pattern. She finished it off with jewels from Lorraine Schwartz.
As for hair, she left it down in waves around her shoulders. Makeup was a bright smoky eye which set off the dress nicely, major blush, and a warm colored lip.
Sofia was in full bloom for the summer event, held at the Berkeley Square Gardens in London.
She received an award for Comedy Actress of the Year.
If you can be both funny and beautiful in Hollywood, then you're one rare breed! Well played.

The 22-year-old actress attended the screening along with her co-star Sam Claflin, director Rupert Sanders and producer Joe Roth.
She accessorized with pointy black and white platform pumps and a black onyx ring.
Her hair was styled in an intricate braided updo with few loose tendrils framing her face.
Her makeup included uber smokey eyes, glossy pink lipstick and pink blush. Red nail polish finished off her look.
Snow White and The Huntsman is due for release in the US on June 1.
After promoting the film in UK and France during Cannes Film Festival, Kristen along with her Australian co-star Chris Hemsworth and Sanders will be in Sydney on June 19 for the Australian premiere.

The dress had a lingerie inspired look, but Alba rocked it to the T.
She accessorized with black strappy heels, Alexander McQueen clutch and Hilary Tisch jewels.
Her hair was styled in a sleek updo by London's celebrity hair stylist James Brown. Her makeup was done by her pal, makeup artist, Lauren Andersen. She wore dewy plum lipstick, glittering eye shadow and lashings of mascara. A swipe of natural blush accentuated her flawless and luminous skin.
The 31-year-old actress said she took about an hour to dress for the event, where she was honored with Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
Alba said she was at the event to celebrate the women and meet all the glamorous ladies whom she does not get to meet otherwise due to her busy life, and was headed to China and New York immediately after the Awards evening.
Another celebrity in Alexander McQueen was Lily Collins, 23, who wore a Pre AW12 green jacquard bustier dress.

The 25-year-old hottie and current flame of Cory Monteith showed every curve in a dark blue off-the-shoulder gown which draped to the side and rivalled every other star on the red carpet in its, well, glamor quotient.
Her couture gown came from the Zac Posen's pre-Fall 2012 collection and looked as if it was made for the star.
Its dark color went well with her brunette mane, which was pulled back in a sleek ponytail. A pair of dangling statement earrings made sure her ears got the royal treatment. Her makeup included smoky blue shadows, blue liner, lash extensions out to there with red blush and mauve pink lipstick.
The smoky blue palette worked well with her Posen dress while the blush highlighted two of the best cheekbones in the business. Off-pink lip color balances out the intensity of the rest of her makeup and draws attention to her megawatt smile.
When asked what she was looking forward to during awards night, the actress gushed "It's just such a wonderful room to be in, with such strong and talented women, so I find it such an honor." Her inspiration was reportedly Stella McCartney, whose clothes she loves.
Lea was honored with the award for television actress, which was well earned. As for future red carpet appearances, Stella are you listening?

While the movie-makers are enjoying their moment in Cannes, the music industry celebrated their own achievements with an uber glam bash at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas.The music A-list at the ceremony included a sizzling Miley Cyrus who showed off her new bobbed 'do against a white tux mini-dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. She was joined on the red carpet by Taylor Swift who smouldered in a scarlet Elie Saab gown.

And in true Katy Perry style, the singer went colour-coordinated with her shimmering lilac hued Blumarine gown, matched to the purple of her hair and berry glossed lips.

But it was the Brits who cleaned up at the event, with Adele scooping the most awards - including Top Female Artist and Top Pop Artist - while Coldplay won Top Alternative Artist and Top Rock Artist.

The retro styling was carried through to Nicole’s hair, which was pinned up in a loose beehive style bun teamed with smoky eyes and a nude lip.

Not wanting to let the rain ruin her look, a helper was on hand to hold an umbrella over Nicole as she signed autographs.

The floor-grazing gown featured a lace bodice with round neckline and flowy chiffon full skirt sans the thigh high slit in the original creation, as seen on the runway.

T-Swift accessorized with Elie Saab heels and Neil Lane jewels consisting of diamond and platinum leaf earrings and diamond and platinum ring.

She wore her blond tresses sleek straight with a blunt fringe.

With the look, the singer departed not only from her trademark curls but also her signature red pout.

For makeup, she kept the focus on her eyes. Makeup artist Lorrie Turk did her makeup using all Covergirl products. She gives the scoop on Swift's look:

She prepared her skin with NatureLuxe Silk Foundation and COVERGIRL + Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush on cheeks for a touch of color and definition. She applied cranberry color from COVERGIRL Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Shadow in Blossoms all over on the eyelid and below her lower lash line as well. She lined her upper and lower lashline with COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Black Fire and smudged it a bit with a cotton bud. The COVERGIRL LashBlast Volume Mascara on both the upper and lower lashes finishd off her eyes. She kept her lips neutral by applying COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Gloss Balm in Peony.

A black manicure finished it off.

The Milester chose a plunging white V-neck blazer by French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier that showed a lot of decolletage. She paired it off with some strappy black and white heels, makeup by Tarte and a gold pendant around her neck.

While her short hair was worn in a voluminous blowout, eyes were dramatically done in black liner and mascara. Her face colors included pink blush and matching pout. The blond locks in this case were set off well by her white Gaultier.

The white color of her jacket was definitely on-trend for the 19-year-old, as was the matching pedicure showing by her heeled shoes.

While we can see most of Miley's enviable stems thanks to this "outfit", we're wondering where her head was.

It's the kind of ensemble anyone over thirty should never try. As for Miles, well, the problem with a fashion risk is that there is never a guarantee it will work.
