Carrie Underwood Stands up for Gay Marriage

Country music superstar, Carrie Underwood, is voicing her opinion in support of gay marriage.
The Blown Away songstress is standing up for what she believes is fair. “As a married person myself, I don’t know what it’s like to be told I can’t marry somebody I love, and want to marry,” she said. “I can’t imagine how that must feel. I definitely think we should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we want to love.”
Underwood, who has never been shy about her strong faith went onto say that she and her NHL star hubby, Mike Fisher, now worshup in a non-denominational church. “Our church is gay friendly,” she said. “Above all, God wanted us to love others. It’s not about setting rules, or [saying] ‘everyone has to be like me’. No. We’re all different. That’s what makes us special. We have to love each other and get on with each other. It’s not up to me to judge anybody.”

 Swara Bhaskar looked resplendent in a Sailex NG dusty rose sheer lace gown at IIFA 2012 Awards in Singapore on Saturday, June 9.
The Tanu Weds Manu star wore a number from the Winter 2012 collection of the Manipuri designer, based in Delhi. The design was unveiled during the Lakme Fashion Week in August and Swara is the first to showcase it on red carpet.
Swara carried off the edgy dress, which tastefully showed a lot of skin, with aplomb.
The dress featured one-shoulder illusion and was embellished with sequin accented lace cutouts, placed strategically. The sheer panels on bodice, back and legs showcased the enviable curves and toned arms of the young actress, while rocking a popular fashion trend of the year.
The studded dull gold stilettos and exquisite floral pattern jewels by Amrapali, consisting of earrings and a bracelet, echoed the graceful silhouette of her dress.
Her hair was parted on the side and pulled back into a messy low chignon to keep attention on the Sailex gown.

"For the IIFA red carpet, however, my brilliant stylist Maneka Harisinghani told me we should push the envelope a bit, and found me this lovely peachy pink gown by the amazing Sailexx Ngairangbam. I fell in love with it the moment I tried it and was very excited to wear it, though a bit nervous too."
"I have this deep seated fear that I will fall flat on my face one day on the red carpet," she jokes.
"Anyway Maneka put the whole look together beautifully and finally the D-Day arrived and I landed on the red carpet, took a deep breath and took a step. Sure enough, the photographers lapped up the look/gown and I ended up spending almost 20min getting clicked and interviewed and mostly everyone was asking about the gown! Especially when they saw the back."
"I got a lot of compliments that evening. It was great fun in all and a great decision by Maneka and all in all I felt amazing, also because in fact I did not fall flat on my face at all!" said Swara.

A reliable source close to the actress tells sawfnews.com that having enjoyed her break with her baby daughter Aradhya, Aishwarya is ready to resume her acting career. She is reading scripts right now and after shortlisting the scripts she will meet filmmakers to sign up for her next.
She is reported to have liked one script in particular from a director known to give actresses their due.
Our insider says its wrong for people to call Aishwara's resumption of her career a comeback, because she never went away.
"It was just a long vacation/break which she took after working for over 18 long years."
Aishwarya's last film was Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Guzaarish in 2010. The film featured Hrithik Roshan as the male lead.
She had started filming for Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine in May 2011 but had to drop out of the project due to her pregnancy. The film, which was announced during Cannes 2011, is currently under production with Kareena Kapoor as the female lead.
Aishwarya gave birth to daughter Aradhya on November 16, 2011.

Finally we get to see Katrina Kaif's makeover in Kabir Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger' in a poster unveiled today, June 9, 2012.
The poster, with the tag line 'The Girl Who Tamed Tiger,' shows Katrina standing against the backdrop of mosques. She looks pensive yet fierce, dressed in a black tank top, natural makeup and voluminous wavy hair.
Two posters released earlier and a teaser promo featured only Salman Khan, keeping Katrina's look under wraps.
Filming of Ek Tha Tiger wrapped on June 5 in Thailand. Shooting began in August 2011 in Dublin, Ireland, followed by schedules in five other countries - Turkey, Iraq, India, Cuba and Thailand.
Kabir has told his Twitter followers that the theatrical trailer of Ek Tha Tiger will be out before the end of June.
The film will bow in theaters on Eid, August 17. It'll be the first release of 2012 for both Salman and Katrina.

Mary-Kate went for a long-sleeved black silk dress with an asymmetrical hem.
She debuted a brunette look, leaving her center parted, stick-straight tresses down.
To go with her gown, she accessorized with Louis Vuitton black suede ankle tie peep-toes, statement Sidney Garber necklace, dangler earrings and black The Row handbag.
She finished off with a black eyeliner and a warm shade of matte lipstick.

The CFDA's, which were held in Lincoln Center, saw gliterati from the fashion and entertainment worlds gather to honor the year's best designers.
Zoe, attired in the Black Silk Crepe Graphic Insert Gown from Prabal Gurung's Fall 12 collection was easily one of the night's most elegantly-dressed women. The long-sleeved gown had a daring V-neckline with sheer panels in the sleeves and middle as well as a sheer skirt which showed off the star's slim figure.
The panels not only showcased her toned arms and upper body, but it added drama to an otherwise simple black gown. The long transparent skirt gave us a view of her enviable pins while also rocking one of the year's popular trends.
She matched it with a pair of black quadruple-strap heels by Nicholas Kirkwood for Prabal Gurung which echoed the graceful silhouette of her dress.
As for face paint, the actress had black smoky eye makeup with pink blush and lip color which set off the dark color of the outfit well. Her hair was parted in the middle and pulled back to focus attention on the PG gown.
Anything this unusual would have been hard to pull off for most stars but Z did it with a bang!
Judging from the number of tweets Prabal Gurung got complimenting her and the gown, she must have had one amazing evening. The two arrived at Lincoln Center together, with Prabal wearing a black tuxedo for the occasion.

Her makeup echoed the warm colors of her dress. She kept the focus on bronzed eye makeup. Orange hue lipgloss and matching blush completed her alluring look for the evening.
Dakota will soon begin filming for her new movie, Very Good Girls, alongside Elizabeth Olsen, Demi Moore, and Peter Sarsgaard. It is a story of two best friends (Fanning and Olsen) who fall in love with the same young artist played by Boyd Holbrook.

Rihana was due to arrive in London for a ten week stay on June 6, 2012, and scheduled to film a show for Sky Living on June 7.
However, her management canceled the Sky Living show because of "sickness"
A source told The Sun: "She canceled her trip and all work commitments in the UK at the very last minute, which is very unlike her.
"She has been hitting it hard for months. She smokes, drinks and parties hard on top of work commitments."
Besides the Sky Living show, Rihanna's other UK commitments include performances at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend in two weeks and the Wireless festival next month.
Rihanna slammed The Sun story over her Twitter account.
"Nonsense! I’m not sick!" she Tweeted.
"I pushed my trip to London back to go spend time with my family!" she explained.
"The Sun Newspaper is like a f**kin a** hair, full of s**t!!!!!!" she added for good effect.
Early last month, after the Met Costume Institute Gala, Rihanna was hospitalized for exhaustion. She tweeted a photo showing her arm with a IV needle and tube taped on it resting on the side of what appeared to be hospital bed.
A source close to the 24-old-singer had told People magazine, "She had a fever and flu since last week and needed an IV, but is fine now."

Arjun Kapoor will be seen romancing Shraddha Kapoor in his new film Aurangzeb, a YRF production.

Shraddha, daughter of Shakti Kapoor, made her acting debut with Teen Patti in 2010, which headlined Amitabh Bachchan. Her second film Luv Ka The End was under the Yash Raj Film's youth banner, Y-Films. Both the films proved to be box-office duds.

Arjun will play a double role in the film. Unlike his rough look in Ishaqzaade, he will reportedly be seen dressed more chic and clean shaven in his sophomore project.

Filming will start in August for an early 2013 release, says a YRF spokesperson.

The film would be director Atul Sabharwal's first. He earlier worked with Aditya Chpra for a TV series. He had written and directed the first of its kind crime series POWDER for YRF.

In 2009 Sabharwal was to direct Junction, a debut production of Abhay Deol's Forbidden Films. The film was to feature Abhay Deol, Shilpa Shukla and Vidya Malvade. But the film never took off.
