Freida Pinto looked a stunner in a strapless Michael Angel peplum gown at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony and 'Moonrise Kingdom' premiere at Palais des Festivals in Cannes Wednesday, May 16.
The 27-year-old Slumdog Millionaire hottie is at Cannes as a L'Oreal Brand ambassador for the fourth year in succession. Other L'Oreal faces walking the red carpet with her on day one of the festival included Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria and Fan Bing Bing, all sporting L'Or Electric look.
Pinto's Michael Angel gown in pastel pink featured a multi-colored sequin embellished sweetheart bodice, ruffled peplum. floor grazing draped skirt with a thigh high slit.

A silver slim belt on her natural waist accentuated the drama of the unusual design of the peplum and brought focus to her enviable slim figure.
Freida accessorized with silver T-strap Louis Vuitton platform heels and a Louis Vuitton lizard miniaudiere that complimented the colors and embellishments on the bodice of her gown. Chopard jewels - teardrop emerald and diamond earrings; and a heart shaped ruby and diamond ring - completed her exquisite look.
Her brunette side swept hair was styled in an elegant updo with a few strands of peek-a-boo bangs.
