| Cynthia Nixon Weds Christine Marinoni |
The couple tied the knot in the Big Apple on Sunday, three years after getting engaged at a 2009 rally to support marriage equality in the Empire State. Nixon, 46, has been dating Marinoni, 45, since 2004 but postponed their nups until same sex marriage got the OK in their homestate — which happened last summer.
According to the couple’s rep:
“On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.”In 2011, Christine gave birth to their son, Max Ellington Nixon-Marinoni. Cynthia — best known for her role as Miranda Hobbs-Brady in the SATC franchise — has two children from her previous relationship with photographer Danny Mozes.
