Charlize Theron is just one of those women that mesmerizes wherever she goes. Which is lucky for the business she's in, because they count on A-list actresses who can also carry off a tight dress on the red carpet.
Today was no exception, as the 36-year-old bombshell made jaws drop in a scarlet red number from Giambattista Valli's Fall 2012 line for the Madrid photocall of "Snow White and the Huntsman" May 17, 2012.
The knee-length dress hugged her figure in all the right places while the three-quarter sleeves gave it a slightly retro look. Elevated shoulders with ruching detail gave her outfit the finishing touch.
Along with the dress, Char chose a pair of pointed nude heels by Christian Louboutin which provided her already long legs with some extra inches.
Her hair was parted in the middle and pulled back in a formal updo while makeup was equally conservative. Mascara and neutral shadow made her eyes pop, while warm cheek and lip colors put a subtle highlight on the rest of her face without competing with her outfit. The hair drawn away from her face definitely allowed the Valli to occupy center stage.
It's the kind of dress many would kill to have, but only someone as sophisticated and glamorous as Charlize should dare try.
The color only flattered her blond tresses, but it also reminded us of the dangerous role she's taken as the Evil Queen. The flesh-toned shoes were on-trend and went well with the demure hemline of the dress.
